Space Cowboys

Established in 1978, the Space Cowboys are the veteran heart of Huntsville Rugby Club, competing regionally and nationally with players of all ages, backgrounds, and experience levels. Whether you’re a former athlete or trying rugby for the first time, joining the Cowboys means growing as part of a team and representing Huntsville across the Southeast.

Supernovas

Founded in 2022, the Supernovas are Huntsville’s vibrant Division III women’s rugby team competing in the True South conference. With players ranging from absolute newcomers to seasoned athletes, the Supernovas offer a welcoming environment for women to form lasting-bonds, built on inclusion, grit, and camaraderie.

Youth Program

Space Cadets

The Huntsville Rugby Youth Program is open to ages 6 to 17. Participants are divided into teams based on their ages: 8U, 10U, 12U, 15U, and 17U. All age groups are currently two-hand touch style of rugby, with the possibility to add tackle rugby for 15U and 17U in the future.
