Youth Program

The Huntsville Rugby Club will be hosting FREE Youth Rugby Clinics on April 20th, 27th, and May 4th from 9:30-11:30am at Brahan Spring Park's PeeWee football field!!

The clinics will be NON-CONTACT and focus on learning the basic rules of rugby, passing skills, footwork, and working as a team.  All adults, coaches and assistants, will be registered with USA Rugby and be required to pass a background check and complete SafeSport training. 

Our goal as a club is to share our passion for rugby and give kids the opportunity to participate and learn the sport at a young age.  We hope to gain enough interest and participation to host a summer camp series where we will have regular youth practices for two hours on Saturday mornings (Dates TBD). Ideally, the summer camp series will build at least two teams and compete in summer 7s tournaments against other non-contact youth teams. We are also looking at adding college and youth brackets to our home tournaments this summer and fall.
